Latest news...
Dear Table Tennis Players please see the final Tables and league averages for 2010/11 season.
Congratulations to Lingfield “A” worthy winners of Div 1 and MMJ “E” who edged out MMJ “D” in division 2 by just one point!.
Thanks to all teams who managed to play their outstanding matches, particularly Alan Hayes Engineering who suffered from illness and injury and still managed to make up several matches towards the end of the season and set a good example for the future.
We hope that all players will make an effort to continue playing in 2011/12 to keep our very friendly league going.
It was good to see the great improvement in the talented young players from MMJ with Vinal Patel remaining undefeated in the league and Tournament being inspirational for the junior players following in his footsteps - and a credit to the coaching and dedication of Martin J.

JEZISEK ACCLAIMED!
East Grinstead based table tennis coach Martin Jezisek has been named ‘Coach of the Year’ in the recent Mid Sussex School Sports Partnership’s 1st annual awards evening.
The Mid Sussex School Sports Partnership oversees extra-curricular school sport development over a large area that includes the towns of East Grinstead , Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill. Coaches from a wide range of sports were nominated for the prestigious coach category but it was Martin, a Slovakian national and self-confessed table tennis crazy, who came through to be recognised for his incredible dedication to building up the sport in his adopted home town.
It is not the first time Jezisek’s work has been celebrated - in 2009 he won a similar award in relation to his work in the Angley Sports college & Tunbridge Wells School Sports Partnership for his work in expanding the Weald TTC in Cranbrook; but it is in East Grinstead where his achievements are most clearly visible. In just four years he has built one of Sussex’s most vibrant table tennis clubs from scratch.
MMJ East Grinstead TTC has a growing membership, excellent facilities, a well developed programme, junior competition teams, ETTA accreditation and is fed from an extensive school network. The club hosts various county events and programmes including the Sussex Junior Elite Centre, for which he is a key member of the coaching team.
